Home Information Packs
Due to recent government legislation it is now compulsory to have applied for a Home Information Pack (known as a HIP) before placing your home on the market for sale. Whilst your estate agent will invariably be able to offer to obtain a HIP for you, we believe that such a pack is best prepared by a solicitor who will have detailed legal knowledge and be able to ensure the accuracy of the HIP. Many conveyancing clients for whom we act also instruct us to prepare their HIP taking the view that the services are complementary to each other.
